Chuka Idako Salad
Preparation: 10 mins
- Defrost Chuka Idako and drain well. Arrange on a bed of fresh mixed greens or shredded cabbage.
- Add thinly sliced cucumber, shredded carrot, and blanched edamame for colour and crunch.
- Drizzle with a Japanese sesame dressing or a light ponzu sauce.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and Kizami Nori strips for an elegant finish.

Chuka Idako Sushi
Preparation: 20 mins
- Defrost Chuka Idako and set aside. Prepare seasoned sushi rice and allow to cool to room temperature.
- For nigiri: mould a small ball of sushi rice, top with one whole Chuka Idako, and secure with a thin strip of nori if desired.
- For maki rolls: spread sushi rice on a nori sheet, place Chuka Idako with avocado and cucumber, then roll tightly using a bamboo mat.
- Slice and serve with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
